CHOSEN GLANCES · PUBLIC EXHIBITION

The beauty of an image.
Never the identity behind it.

A gallery conceived as an exhibition space: a few remarkable photographs, presented for their light, composition and sensitivity - with no profile, no pseudonym and no way to identify their authors or subjects.

THE STANCE

Showing a gaze.
Protecting the people.

01

No link to a Portrait

An exhibited photograph never leads to a member, a pseudonym, an album or a conversation.

02

An authorisation for each work

Any photograph entrusted by a member will require an explicit agreement, specific to that image and revocable at any time.

03

Discretion down to the details

Faces, tattoos, settings, metadata and distinguishing marks must be absent, masked or rendered non-identifying.

PRELIMINARY EXHIBITION

Glimpses of Connivence.

A first visual stroll to imagine the future Gallery. The works remain deliberately darkened at rest; they regain their light when one approaches them.

The heart of the members

Only admitted and signed-in members will be able to give a heart to the works that move them. Visitors may browse the Gallery and enlarge each photograph, without voting or intervening. During a contest, the work having received the most hearts may be distinguished and its authors rewarded according to the terms announced for that edition.
